Care and Hope Center

The Center is a NOT FOR PROFIT information hub to instill awareness on the horrors of domestic violence, emotional/physical abuse, and all violence against women. Approved by the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence and, and, it is FREE for all SL residents to visit. Take part in monthly classes on various topics such as domestic violence, emotional abuse, love addiction, etc.. or visit at your convenience and gather information for yourself, or for someone you know at risk.

Take a look around, residents all over the grid have come together, creating artwork to help The Care and Hope Center raise awareness (mine is below). There is a video to watch and tons of other valuable information on how to keep yourself safe in an explosive situation, and after you've decided it's time to leave.  There are links to resources in your area. You do NOT have to go it alone! If you have questions, need referrals, or just an ear to listen, please contact Morgan Whitfield in world (mmorganwhitfield).

You cant just wash it away.

Thank you again Morgan, for all you do to get people talking about this very difficult subject, and for allowing me to help!
